The “face” of Foxy Bingo, Katie Price, a model otherwise known as Jordan will be parting ways with Foxy Bingo. The leading online bingo site has decided to end its association with Katie as they could not continue to compete for her time without making a significant financial investment.
She has been the “face” for the site since 2006 and the publicity the site has achieved due to this association has raised the profile of Foxy Bingo and also contributed significantly to changing the image of online bingo and bingo in general.
Katie has featured in photo-shoots with “Foxy” and she also contributed by setting up “Katies Charity Bingo Room” which give 50% of all card purchase monies to charities. Foxy bingo management have said that she has provided a magnificent building block for the online bingo site and has helped to shift peoples perceptions of the image of bingo and this has projected the site and the game into the mainstream, by creating a more youthful image, not the generally preconceived idea that bingo is for old age pensioners or slovenly “Andy Cap” like housewives.
The online bingo site is set to continue all its promotional work by using their “Foxy” mascot and a new television commercial us due to be screened in February.
