A young girl from North Glasgow has really taken her bingo club to the cleaners. All that after her Gran had to drag her literally kicking and screaming into the bingo club. In her third visit to the club Emma won a whopping £313,000, in the National Bingo Platinum game, which naturally thanks to her Gran, she is going to be sharing with her.
This twenty year old seems to have lady luck on her side as the first time she played bingo she won ₤220. Forget the luck of the Irish, it is definitely the Scots that have the luck, this has been proven by a study that was conducted to find the luckiest towns in the UK. She completed the full house in a really low number of calls, only thirty seven, and this is remarkable in itself. It appears that she was almost destined to win and do it well.
Emma says that she actually didn’t realize she had won so much money, she thought she had called for the house prize and thought to herself that she would put it away for a holiday. When they told her at the end of the session how much she had won, she couldn’t grasp the magnitude of it and her Gran just sat there shaking. I think I would shake too if I won that much money playing bingo.
